Service · Monthly retainer or daily-rate engagements
Run & ad-hoc maintenance
Your AI platform runs but needs daily attention your team doesn't have time to give? SeedVision operates it monthly or by the day — on-call, updates, continuous optimisation.
→ Your team focuses on the product, SeedVision holds the platform.

Who the Run & maintenance engagement is for
- You have a production AI platform without a dedicated ops team
- You need 24/7 or business-hours on-call coverage
- You want to secure model updates and security patches
When Run & maintenance is not the right engagement
- Your platform is not in production yet: industrialisation comes before operations
- You are looking for a fixed-price team to build new features: this offer covers running the platform, not building it
How the Run & maintenance engagement runs
- Takeover (1 week) — Platform takeover, audit of the existing runbook, access and alert setup.
- Monthly run — On-call, updates, optimisation, monthly review with a written report.
- Adjustments — Scope adjusted every three months per your needs (volume, criticality, perimeter).
What Run & maintenance delivers
- On-call and technical support (window to be defined)
- Model updates and security patches
- Continuous GPU cost and performance optimisation
- Monthly observability review (written report)
- Incident response with a contractual service level
- Continuous runbook documentation
Run & maintenance: what the engagement expects from you
- Access to the environments, the hosting accounts and the code repositories
- An existing runbook, even partial — if there is none, the takeover week writes it
- A contact reachable during incidents: on-call that cannot decide anything stops at the first arbitration
What you gain
- Contractual service level — Quantified on-call with a contractual response time. No more out-of-hours stress on incident.
- Optimised costs — Monthly review of API and GPU costs with optimisation recommendations. Savings are recurring.
- Flexibility — No long-term commitment. Monthly retainer adjustable each quarter per your real needs.
Questions about Run & maintenance
What service level is offered?
Per tier: Standard (4 business hours response), Business (1 business hour), Critical (15 minutes, 24/7). The tier is set at start and adjustable quarterly.
Can SeedVision take over a platform built by another provider?
Yes. The takeover week is for exactly that: an audit of the code, the runbook and the dependencies. If technical debt is too high, SeedVision proposes a remediation before the run.
How is the monthly retainer billed?
A fixed monthly fee based on an estimated day volume. Overage is billed at the daily rate, underage rolled over up to 20%. Full transparency through a monthly report.
What exactly does on-call cover?
Restoring service: diagnosis, workaround, rollback, communication. It does not cover new feature development, which is quoted separately so that operations does not turn into a disguised staffing contract.
How does an operating engagement end?
With notice and a handover: access returned, runbook up to date, incident and change history transmitted. The stated goal remains that your team can take over.
